Report Discrimination
Denver Metro Fair Housing Center (DMFHC) works to eliminate housing discrimination and promote housing choice for all people through education, advocacy, and enforcement of fair housing laws.
Please complete this form to the best of your ability and knowledge.
Once you submit your form, DMFHCs Intake Specialist will contact you to gather some additional information and will discuss your case further to gain clarity on your situation.
Please note, DMFHCs jurisdiction covers seven counties: Adams, Arapahoe, Broomfield, Boulder, Denver, Douglas, and Jefferson. If you reside outside of this jurisdiction, DMFHC may review your claim(s) and provide you with as much support as possible, though it may be limited.
DMFHC cannot make a determination of your claim(s); if, however, during the investigation, you are able to substantiate your claim(s) that may infringe on your Fair Housing rights, DMFHC will work with you to submit a case to HUD, CCRD, and/or a private attorney.
As a complainant, you are requesting that DMFHC provide advocacy assistance with your fair housing
complaint and not with tenant landlord issues or any type of negligence claim.
It is a violation of the law to deny you your fair housing rights for any of the following factors:
- Race
- Color
- Sex
- Religion
- National Origin
- Familial Status (children under 18)
- Disability
